Luke Shackleton

BEng (Hons)

Engineer

Having grown up in Somerset, Luke graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BEng (Hons) in civil and coastal engineering in 2015 and joined PCA in November of that year.

Luke has worked on a diverse range of projects, including small residential alterations, restoration and conversion of listed buildings, large new-build developments and bespoke domestic schemes. He was also involved in the award-winning project in Woolsery, which began with renovating the pub, but went on to encompass the manor house and village shop. Since then, he has continued to work on larger, more complicated projects.

Luke has a particular interest in computer analytics and design of structures using a variety of software packages, including Tekla Structural Designer Robot Structures and IDEA StatiCa connection designer.

Away from the office, when he isn't working on his house, Luke likes getting outside: climbing, mountain-biking, mountain-unicycling, paddle-boarding, or walking his pointer-setter-cross called Sedge.
