Oscar joined PCA in September 2025 as our first degree apprentice. He will work alongside the team while undertaking a civil engineering degree at the University of Exeter.

Oscar’s family moved from Derbyshire to Devon in 2021 following multiple holidays to the area. After studying for his A-levels, he went travelling but also worked to gain experience that he could potentially take into a career in the engineering industry.

Already keen on house renovations and construction, Oscar knew he liked engineering but had never really been sure if he wanted to do a full-time university course. An apprenticeship with PCA means he can incorporate his interests in maths, drawing and design all in one.

Outside of work, Oscar loves surfing, skateboarding and playing football. He also has a passion for music as illustrated by his massive CD and vinyl collection.
