The Great Barn is reputedly the largest barn in Hertfordshire and dates from the 17th century.

It is a grade II-listed building surrounded by later Victorian agricultural buildings.

Prior to planning permission being granted, the buildings were in a derelict state and, following sensitive repair, have been converted into very high quality living accommodation.
